About Gall Power Equipment
Gall Power Equipment owner David Gall has over 30 in the power equipment industry.
Dave was an assistant manager of the DR Equipment factory store in Enfield CT. He was involved with every aspect of running an equipment dealership for a major equipment manufacturer. He also received extensive training at the DR corporate headquarters in Vergennes VT.
When DR decided not to continue their factory store program, they vacated their Enfield CT store.
Dave saw this as an opportunity to establish his own store at the 599 Hazard Ave. location.
The former DR store which was a 6,000 square foot building included a 3,000 square foot showroom and 3,000 square foot service/parts department.
The large building started to fill up quickly with new consumer and commercial equipment, along with a backlog of customer machines requiring service.
Dave also had the areas only U-Haul rental facility on-site as well.
After 5 years at the Enfield location, Dave found himself spending most of his time doing paper work and managing the business, and less time working with the equipment he enjoyed.
In 2013 Dave decided to give up the large business model, in favor of a smaller more personable equipment repair business.
Today Gall Power Equipment offers most of the services of the big dealership, but in a simpler format. Dave now enjoys interacting with the customers as well as doing most of the service work himself.
